Trade Law as the branch of the Croatian Law System has been confirmed as separate, autonomous category due to the respective legal sources. The Article intends to cover the diversity of these sources, their historical background, former and (in particular) contemporary influence on legal position of trade (economic/business) subjects and developed contract relations and other legal environments that do involve those subjects. The Author denotes some of his ideas and views of case law (arbitration practice), legal / law science (doctrine) and autonomous trade law as legal sources in domestic and international trade law pattern that might cause the reaction (approval or disapproval) of legal practitians and theoreticians. Both options of the reaction should be based and certified on objective, qualified and competent scientific
arguments.
