Review article


The Author intends to present the summarized review of the Croatian language in the Middle Ages considering and correlating the generally recognized and reliable facts derived from historical dialectology and the history of the Croatian language. The Paper is designed as preliminary schedule for the further comprehensive survey of ref. issue, attempting to evaluate the facts due to their importance and denoting the outline of linguistic pattern in the Croatian Middle Ages parallel with the analysis of the most significant features in organic idioms and texts.
